BYITC Supermaths to host free exam preparation webinar for children in England

The British Youth International College (BYITC) Supermaths is proud to present a unique opportunity for students in England- a free entrance exam preparation webinar for the 11+ exam. This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive online session covering all exam aspects.

The webinar will be divided into two sections, one for the Grammar School Entrance Exam and the other for the Private School Entrance Exam, ensuring a tailored approach for all students.

BYITC Supermaths, based in Glasgow, Scotland, was founded by Dr Rashmi Mantri (pictured above) in 2015. Her inspiration came from teaching her son basic arithmetic using an abacus. This personal touch has guided the college\’s expansion, now offering online classes in English, coding, and cybersecurity, and running franchises worldwide.

The 11+ Exam Consultation Webinar will be held on July 6, 2024, from 1 to 2 p.m. It will be hosted by BYTIC and include a Q&A segment aimed at providing a comprehensive guide to preparing for the 11+ exam.

Guidance on how to study more efficiently, focusing on time management and study habits, and the importance of regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust study plans as needed will also be included.

Additionally, the webinar will discuss some support for difficult topics and provide extra help for challenging subjects to ensure students have a complete understanding of the topic while also boosting their confidence.

Dr Mantri, founder and computer scientist, said: \”Competition to get into the top grammar and independent schools remain fierce, so students can feel under a lot of pressure to pass the 11+ exam.

\”That\’s why preparation is so important. Knowing what to expect and helping students to learn about each unit of the 11+ exam can take some pressure off and put pupils on the path to success. The webinar will help you get the most important questions answered, including \’When to start\’ and \’How to start\’.”

The exam will test students in four key areas: English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. BYTIC offers an entire 11+ exam course over 60 weeks delivered online in three blocks of 20 weeks, covering three levels: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. The curriculum covers all four subjects in the exam to ensure students understand each topic.
